Have you ever been so excited for something so simple? That’s how I am right now. Some of you may have known that I moved right before Sunny Daydream started. So I had to leave all my friends, including my best friend Cammy. We had known each other since I was about 7 or 8. I had a ton of fun with her, she was like my sister! Well, it’s time to re unite! (two words?)

So, what’s happening? Well, right before FreedomFest, which is my Mom’s GIANT conference in Las Vegas every year, I’m going to spend a little bit with her! I’m so super excited <3 So I leave Sunday the 27^th, and return the 30^th or 1^st. So don't really expect many updates from here till then. As well as the whole conference thing, I will have wireless, and loads of time, so yes I will probably be updating!

So, here’s the thing. We always went to Dollywood in Tennessee every summer. Don’t ask, it was just our thing. Here we were a few years ago

We are also Twilight buddies. I know some of you hate Twilight, but we’ve seen ALL the movies together and we are going to see Eclispe at midnight! No we aren’t as obsessed as to trample all over people to get in, we’re going to a super old movie theater. It’s like an hour away, but it has a balcony! We saw Harry Potter there!

We’ll probably go to the mall, which is a great mall, and run around and eat pretzels and scream like we’re up on caffeine (which we probably will be by then!) and just hang out, like old times.

Here’s the moral of the story kids. Even though I moved, we’re still best friends, and nothing is going to change that. Don’t let a silly fight ruin your friendship with someone, because trust me, if you have no friends, you will regret it.

Like my title? It’s about George. Yes, me and Marilyn were playing on the little putting green outside my house, and we found a frog! Want to see some pics?

Cute huh? So we played with him for like 30 minutes, then we made a video of releasing him. It was special xD.

And there you have it. George was released in the wild. The second picture was Marilyn’s idea, she wanted George to be a Lady Gaga frog :p So now I’m just chillin’ out about to go to the beach. Family is not doing great, everyone is stressed from the Las Vegas conference D: But I’m mellow. Mellow is a weird word.

Exuberant, eh? So, happy first day of summer to me!
School ended on Wednesday. So let me tell you what happened on Wednesday.
I got to school around 7, class started at 7:30. We didn’t do anything all of first period, me and Marilyn played James Bond, a card game I am now addicted to.

Then I went to Math, and said goodbye to my math teacher who is leaving the school. She was a great teacher! Anyways, then we all walked along the hallways and signed yearbooks. Then we had lunch and went to my science room and ate popsicles and my teacher danced around to Ke$ha :/ Hahaha anyways, then we went BACK to first period and got our report cards and schedules for next year. Yay! I’m excited for next year! But not too excited. Some of you may be questioning the ‘1.’ in my blog title. That is because everyday I blog, it will be a different day of summer. So I will post all my summer activities! I’m in for a very exciting summer however. We have the Las Vegas vacation, my birthday, niece arriving, my birthday!

So let me tell you what happened Wednesday night, it was weird… I went to Marilyn’s house with a few friends for a summer movie night whatever. We went swimming, and my mom told me my sister (who’s pregnant) might have to get a c-section because the baby wasn’t doing good. I was freaking out. I had to go home early in case we had to go to Raleigh. We didn’t have to. She didn’t have to get a c-section and everything was okay. (thank god)

Today we didn’t do much. I got up. I ate a waffle. I went out for lunch. I went to the beach with my dad. We built a sandcastle and watched it get torn down by waves! It was so cool! We also floated down in the ocean and it was fun. It was just a good lazy day. Now Mom & Dad are working, and I’m playing :).

So here’s what happened so far today:
I’ve been in a trivia competition between two history homerooms. I’ve walked to second period (math) and my teacher wasn’t there. We sat there for like 15 minutes until a teacher came and took us to the computer lab. She just told us to do whatever we wanted. Funny how they have my website blocked, but not my FanUpdate ^^ So I’m going to write some articles and post them up because I don’t have much else to do.

Yesterday afternoon was fun. My friend Michele invited me over to her house because her friend Gimena and Marilyn was there. So I went over at 2 and came back at 7. It was so much fun! We swam in the pool, then it started raining and we ran inside, then 2 minutes later we went to the golf course and span in circles in the rain. Then we jumped back in the pool. It was awesome. Fun afternoons! Then I went home and watched DVRs of Degrassi.

Let me ask you a question. About religion. Me and the girls mentioned above were talking about it. One is Athiest, one is Agnostic, and me and Michele are Christian. I was reading (Haley’s) article Lukewarm Christians on clompish.com and joined the Facebook page. Why? I’ve been forced to go to church by friends and other (not my parents) family members. I did. I hated going to church, I found it silly. I still believed in God though.

So why am I not athiest? Good question, here’s my good answer. Recently I started going to church, reading the bible, getting more involved in activities with my church. I know realize I believe in God too strongly to even think about becoming Athiest.
Don’t get me wrong. My least favorite thing is when people try and throw their religious crap on Athiests. YOU CAN’T CHANGE THEM! It’s like if I liked dogs and you liked cats, you probably couldn’t make me suddenly like cats then also.

Whenever Athiests try and change me (happened, luckily I don’t talk to him) it bothers me. Stop trying to change people! It’s hopeless! When people debate religion, nobody cares! Everybody has their own unique belief and it shouldn’t be any other way.
Thanks and hope that my math teacher comes back! She promised me doughnuts!

site. Your layout is very simple, but your CSS is beautiful, and your header
image is as well. I'll explain this more in the layout. Your text is easy to

Taking a closer look into your layout. I think your header
image is beautiful and I love the grungy look to it. It's very nice and easy to
navigate.

I don't think the ';;' is really needed in your sidebar, but
it looks good however you want it. Your CSS is valid and your HTML has 14
warnings, but is passed! Yay for excellent coding!

Your 'Katrien' page is amazing. It tells me a lot about you
and shows who you are and what you are on the web for. It's enjoyable to read,
and I didn't find any spelling/grammatical errors in it. Your 'Ask' page I feel
could go on your 'Katrien' page, as it's not a major part of your site. I'm just
going to read 2 of your articles, the internet privacy and the athiesm ones. I'm
glad your athiesm article has the 'not meant to offend…..blah blah blah'
thing, because some online bloggers get offended easily. They are both very
informative, and they don't just ramble on like some stories. Despite your
dislike of writing, you have written this very well and it's very organized
(both of them!) Your poem is actually very good. I like how you pulled out the
last three stanzas. I'm a poetry nerd sometimes Your PHP tutorial (the one
I'm reviewing pretty much just to see what your tutorial style is) was helpful
to me when converting to PHP. Props to you for displaying code in a blockquote
and NOT in textarea. The contact area at the bottom helps if I don't get it, and
it's quite easy. 'Our Last Story' kept me on my edge even for a short story. You
were overly descriptive, which is good! It was as if I could see exactly what
your character was feeling and experiencing. Reading that so far has been my
favorite part of your review! Your resource websites review is very useful for
other designers (like me!) so people (I) can find good font sites and
textures…etc. You do reviews also! Of course you do The only thing that
erks me a tad is that I couldn't find the completed reviews. I would move
Cassidy's review (and any other future completed reviews) to a seperate page
called Completed Reviews or something of that sort. I'm reading Cassidy's
review, and I like how you have a review layout of some sort. It's good to be
able not to sugar-coat reviews or not to be so harsh. Sugar coating gives
viewers the WRONG impression and harsh reviews are just mean Your rules are
good, firm yet fair. That's pretty much all on your content. Your brushes are
okay, they're not my favorite. I love your photography, those are amazing! Your
textures are quite good, but some of them like
this one seem a little bright
and hard to use.

Overall:

Katrien I've known you since Crystalline Hearts has started,
and you've come quite a long way. I think you could add some graphics maybe,
like some avatars or more textures, or even some premade layouts because your
photomanipulation and coding are very well done. You've done a great job on
Crystalline Hearts and I think you can add a little more content, but other than
that what you have so far earns…

Creepy huh? Yeah, so our school went into lockdown on Friday morning. It wasn’t a drill. We all hid behind desks and turned out the lights for like an hour. Then these giant cops came in with evil looking (but super cute) german shepherd dogs. We were so confused, and were pretty freaked out…
So the cops tell us to leave the room. We do and the cops bring the dogs in to sniff our room. Lucky for us, our room was clear. So were all the other rooms. Lockers? Hmmm…
Some kid was caught with drugs in his locker, and is now on house arrest for the whole summer.
I refuse to name names. Just saying!
So kids, what have we learned today?
DRUGS WILL PUT YOU ON HOUSE ARREST, DON’T DO ‘EM!
That’s scary.

I think my cat is just going to drive me insane, mewing his head off trying to get us to let him outside. My teachers take class out to the field, we eat dinner out on the patio every night. Friends, readers, family, get this in your head:

I moved.

Hence the title, everything around me is in a rush. However, it’s so cool here! I have 2 rooms. It’s like a…hmmm well Heidi drew a very cruddy detailed picture on Paint because it’s hard to explain. Click!

We haven’t painted the house yet. We have really creepy wallpaper with pelicans on it. It’s cool, but random at the same time. Boxes: I stuffed every single thing in my room into a giant box that weighs about 50 lbs. As Juniper commented earlier, I found a ton of old stuff that I haven’t even unpacked from when I moved last summer. Interesting, huh? I found…My Nintendo DS Lite and games, a TON of DVDs, about ten bamillion books, stuff like that

All in all, it was a pretty easy move. As soon as I find one of the cameras to take some pictures, I’ll show you my view and stuff It’s a really really pretty house. I can walk to the beach. I went to the beach the other day!!! Then I got stung by a jellyfish : /. Have you ever got stung by a jellyfish? It hurts

My new bus comes 10 minutes later. I still have to get up at 6 am. My school starts at 7. It’s tough getting up in the morning! A bunch of my friends ride that bus though, so it’s pretty cool and stuff

And all of you that were wondering, the whole Visa thing is good It took forever to figure out, but I can now shop! Well, atleast until my 30$ runs out

What I’m just going to plan on doing this week is completing everybody’s reviews, and putting up the layout for my hosting site.

Heidi gets home, opens the card, and sees words like ‘monthly fee’ and ‘register online’ and ‘temporary card’ and ‘not avalible for people under 18′. Well, crud. So Heidi logs into the website to register it anyways, because she REALLY wants to do some great online shopping. It said “Hello VALUED customer! You bought your card at a WalGreens store, so you must wait 1 hour and 2 minutes to activate your card.”. REALLY??!?!?!! REALLY?!?!?! Augh!!!! Dx I don’t even know if it would charge me or not or whatever, I just wanted to do some flipping online shopping! It hurts soo bad!!!!!

Hey, if ANYBODY, and I mean ANYBODY know what the heck I’m doing, please reply asap before I pay 4000000000$ on random fees.

Wow, packing. I never thought it would…take so long I feel like everything I put in my little special box keeps jumping out. I guess I don’t want to pack up my room. I’ve been in this house for maybe 10 months, but it holds so many memories. Pretty much my whole 7^th grade year, friends, etc. I’ve moved plenty of times, I don’t know, this house is special <3

However, I will be moving next to one of my best buddies (by spontanious coincidence that I bought a neighboring house) and her name is MARILYN! She rocks 8D So here I will post 10 random facts about my new neighbor, Marilyn S.

1. She’s a spazz. No really, she’s a spazz.
2. We’ve only been friends since like, January.
3. She’s REALLY smart. She’s in Algebra I and she’s in 7^th grade.
4. She is obsessed with Lady Gaga, lol.
5. She eats pizza and ranch. Don’t ask, she just sits next to me at lunch
6. We have World History I together, and that’s the only time I see her. So how the heck we became friends, who knows?
7. She has an older brother. He’s a creep (KIDDING! Sort of…)
8. She likes to ram into people on Go-Karts
9. She’s like, a black belt in every sort of Kung-Fu there is. That’s scary.
10. Her last name is STOCKFISCH! Hahaha, that last name makes me laugh! <3

Anyways, I am gathering CASH for a reseller package so I can provide professional paid or free hosting. As soon as I can get my debit card to load on PayPal, it will be up! I’m hoping for the domain to be decafplease.net as with my new random obsession with coffee.

I cannot drink caffeinated coffee as I spazz out and I am taken to the nurses office to sit and calm down. I’m not kidding I messed up my Starbucks order this morning, and I sat in Nurse Kirkpatrick’s office for 20 minutes.

Sad note- A good friend of mine died today. It was my best friend’s ex boyfriend. He was ‘jumped’ by a gang and was killed. Not listing names, just keep them in your prayers. If you aren’t religious, just hope they will be okay

Boten Anna. It’s this Swedish techno song on you tube I am currently obsessed with. Marilyn got me hooked. Just search Boten Anna by Basshunter and it should come up. You will NEVER get it out of your head.
Today is my last week in this house. I leave on Saturday or so. I will miss it, but I can’t wait to be next to Marilyn and Michelle and everyone!

We got back from kayaking, the guys were all laughing at how wet we were. We had lunch and chilled. Then they made us learn about water/air pollution which I’m now freaking out about. One, they’re building a new mall on the island. Who knew? And two, because of the mall, some of the fish may die from pollution We’re so bad to our planet, I may add an eco-awareness subsite. I’ve never really noticed until we learned about ecology today how bad we are to our surroundings. Sigh.

Anyways, after our ecology lessons, the guys came back from kayaking. We were on two different sessions. So we sprayed them with a hose, which later resulted in ice water being dumped on us :P We all hung out and waited for our bus to come. Then we rode the bus back to school, then went home

It was a pretty awesome day. Here’s some pictures from Google of the marina we kayaked in. Oh, I tried to buy a waterproof camera all right. It was 22 dollars. That was a huge rip! It was crazy…

So, here’s a few tips for y’all kayakers out there 1. Don’t touch oysters (Ethan had to go to the hospital for stitches because of them) 2. Don’t mess with people who will dump water on you, and 3. Never, EVER, put a snail on your teachers head which requires her to scream. Sorry Ms. Beach

Yep That’s good. So I need to tell you all about my wonderful kayak adventures!
So the whole 7^th grade is going on a huge kayak trip this week. My class goes Thursday. It’s super fun because I share a kayak with my neighbor Marilyn =D So excited! I will take plenty of pictures, I’m so excited!!! Oh, and I took a huggggge math test, which was like 192 problems, and I only missed 7. That’s really good in my class. Math isn’t my strongest subject, so I felt good about it.
Anyways, I got a bunch of comments for good luck on my play, and I really appreciate it! We’ve been doing way better than how we were, and it’s only been a few days. I’m really excited about it, I hope the 2^nd graders like it. We were practicing and my teacher was like “So then you walk out on stage and all the little 2^nd graders will ask you stupid little 2^nd grader questions like ‘Why are you a lion?’ and ‘Whoa, how did you appear from the back of the stage?” And then, her 2^nd grade daughter walked in. It was really funny!
Back to kayaking, we kayak around the sound we live on, and have a picnic, and ride horses (random, but cool!) So I’m really excited! I’ve never been kayaking before, any tips?
